What information we collect

When you book a conversation or interact with The Rough Draft Room, we may collect the following information:

Information you provide directly:

• Your first name

• Your email address

• Your responses to intake questions at time of booking ("What's bringing you here today?")

• Payment information — processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details

Information collected automatically:

• Basic website analytics (pages visited, time on site) via Google Analytics

• Booking and scheduling data via Calendly (date, time, confirmation status)

What we do NOT collect:

• Your last name (never required)

• Your phone number (unless you choose to provide it)

• Your home address

• Any recording or transcript of your conversation — conversations are never recorded

How we use your information

We use the information we collect for one purpose: to provide you with a private, seamless booking and conversation experience.

Specifically:

• Your name and email are used to confirm your booking and send reminders

• Your intake response helps Poppy show up prepared for your conversation

• Payment information is processed by Stripe to complete your transaction

• Analytics data helps us understand how people find and use the website — no personal data is included

We do not:

• Sell your information to anyone

• Share your information with third parties beyond what is necessary to operate the service

• Use your information for marketing without your explicit consent

• Record, transcribe, or store the content of your conversations

Your conversations are private

This deserves its own section because it matters.

Nothing said in a Rough Draft Room conversation is recorded, transcribed, stored, or shared — ever.

Zoom recording is disabled on all Rough Draft Room calls. No notes are taken during or after your conversation that could identify you. Your intake response is used only to prepare for your specific conversation and is not retained beyond that purpose.

Your conversation is between you and Poppy. That's it.

Cookies and analytics

Roughdraftroom.com uses cookies and Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website. This data is anonymous and aggregated — it tells us things like "50 people visited the pricing page this week" but never identifies individual visitors.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time. This will not affect your ability to book a conversation.

Data retention

We retain your booking information (name, email, date of conversation) for a period of 12 months for basic business record-keeping purposes. After 12 months, this information is deleted.

Payment records are retained as required by law for tax and financial record-keeping purposes.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of any personal information we hold about you

• Correction — ask us to correct any inaccurate information

• Deletion — request that we delete your personal information

• Opt out — unsubscribe from any email communications at any time
